Yang is a graduate student in the Department of Medical Engineering at University of South Florida. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at Sichuan Agricultural University, China, and received her Master’s degree at Northwest Agriculture & Forest University, China. Her previous research focused on the identify and modification of key enzymes in the synthesis of plant natural products.
